Noah BasketballMost Popular Guy In Chocolate City, USA Yells, "Noah!" And Gets Results

Brian Biedrzycki may one day be the most popular man in Burlington, Wisc.— perhaps even more famous than hometown boy and Dallas quarterback Tony Romo.

You see, Biedrzycki is the man who convinced Burlington Boys Basketball Club and the high school to purchase the NOAH shooting system. He also is the one who set up the system for every basketball player from seventh grade to varsity.

“I saw NOAH on an instructional basketball DVD,” said Brian, who is president of the basketball club where his son, Carson, plays point guard for the Junior Demons. “I called John Carter and purchased it without seeing how the system worked in person.”

Why?

“Because the way John explained it to me, it just made sense,” Brian said. When NOAH arrived in early January, 12-year-old Carson had played seven games and was averaging 7.7 points, shooting 23 for 49 from the field (46.9 percent), 5 for 10 on three pointers (50 percent) and 3 for 7 on free throws (42.9 percent) for the traveling squad.

The Junior Demons had a winter break that allowed Carson to try out NOAH for 10 days.

“I liked it a lot,” Carson said of his first impression. “I felt like I wanted to do it every day.”

His team returned to action on Jan. 19. In the following eight games, Carson upped his scoring to 12.9 points and improved his shooting to 43 for 70 from the field (61.4 percent), 7 for 9 on three-pointers (77.9 percent) and 10 for 12 on free throws (83.3 percent.

Carson credits his increase scoring to his improved confidence in his shooting.

“As of right now, NOAH is the best basketball invention ever,” Carson said.

During one memorable exchange on the court, Brian recalls Carson was fouled on a three-pointer late in the game.

“I just looked at him and yelled out, NOAH,” Brian said. “He knew exactly what I meant.”

Now with the entire Burlington basketball community set up on NOAH, it's going to be interesting to see how each team improves next season, especially the varsity boys, which won five total games from 2005-2007.

“It'll be nice to see the transition,” Brian said of the basketball players in Burlington, a town 20 miles south of Milwaukee with a population of 10,000. “I really can't wait to see the results. But based on how much my son has improved, I think we'll see a drastic change in shooting percentages and wins.”

And if that happens, Brian Biedrzycki may be the sweetest thing in “Chocolate City, USA.”
