Player Spotlight: Bryce TeKulve (Luxemburg-Casco)
Luxemburg-Casco (Wisconsin) was the first high school in the nation to install the latest Noah Shooting System. Looking back at the Spartans’ 2016-2017 season, the results show how Noah Basketball is helping teams make more shots and win more games. With a 20-4 over all and 17-1 conference season that extended all the way to the WIAA Regional Finals, the team boasted shooting 70 percent from the free throw line and 40 percent from behind the arc.
“I heard about Noah Basketball and decided to pursue purchasing a system because I really liked how Noah [Shooting System] offers instant feedback,” Luxemburg-Casco Head Coach John Hampton said recently. “In just the first week, I saw how our forwards and post players who shot flat had developed a repeatable arc. Just that alone impressed and excited me.”
On the individual level, the Noah Shooting System helps players improve their shot and become more consistent shooters. One Luxemburg-Casco senior experienced a standout year after using Noah to improve his shot. Senior Guard Bryce TeKulve averaged 13.5 points and shot 43 percent (48 for 112) on three-pointers in the 2015-2016 season. In his senior season, he improved to an average of 19.5 points per game and shooting 53.8 percent (64 for 119) on three-pointers. Those numbers put him at the top of the charts, as he led the state across all five divisions in three-point shooting. What does TeKulve think about Noah?
“The things I like about shooting on the Noah [Shooting System] is that it tells you your results right away so you can change your shot as you shoot,” says TeKulve. “The [Noahlytics Data Service] tells you your shot percentage as well so you can see how many shots you are making and missing, and then it shows where the shots go into the hoop so you can see track your accuracy.”
